Some tips on filling fuel in ur vehicle..
1) ONLY BUY OR FILL UP YOUR CAR OR BIKKIE IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN THE GROUND TEMPERATURE IS STILL COLD.
Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the denser the fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening.... your litre is not exactly a litre. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the petrol, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products play an important role. A 1degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.
2) WHEN YOU'RE FILLING UP, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER OF THE NOZZLE TO A FAST MODE.
If you look, you will see that the trigger has three stages: low, middle, and high. In slow mode, you should be pumping on low speed, thereby minimizing the vapours that are created, while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapour return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapour. Those vapours are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money.
3) FILL UP WHEN YOUR TANK IS HALF FULL.
The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank, the less air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine. Petroleum storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the petrol and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation.
4) IF THERE IS A FUEL TRUCK PUMPING INTO THE STORAGE TANKS WHEN YOU STOP TO BUY, DO NOT FILL UP.
Most likely the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

rata-rata penduduk Malaysia skrg ni cite psl minyak naik..naik mendadak lak tu..kalo dh mnyak naik,brg len pn akn naik gk..hampeh tol..terpaksa la aku tidurkn Neo aku..naik motor je la pasni..alasan govt naikkn minyak,subsidi mnyak tu leh gune tok pembangunan..pmbangunan jnis cmne yg dorg nk wt?kalo sekadar nk wt another Monsun Cup n bnde2 yg cm mmbazir,baik xyah..kalo pmbangunan yg xmmbazir,cmne lak die bg tender tok pmbangunan tu..adakah bg kt kroni2 or open tender..sume ni govt kene pk..bab2 minyak ni,serius dow,mmg akn sshkn rakyat..ssh gler2..sume brg akn naik..yg miskin akn brtmbah miskin..mmg la govt akn bg duit kt pemilik kete bwh 2.0 cc and bwh 250cc tok motor, tp duit yg dibg tu mne ckup nk tampung keperluan minyak tok setahun..bygkn la,kete ape yg gune minyak just RM650 setahun?motor ape yg gune minyak RM150 setahun?xde wei..hidup makin ssh skrg..mlm harge minyak nk naik,rmai gler org beratur kt petrol pam..sume sgup pinjam sane sini just tok penuhkn tank minyak kete..ni bukti rakyat terasa beban minyak naik..kalo dorg xrase beban,xdenye dorg sgup tgu smpai sejam lbh just tok isi minyak kete..aku dpt info yg pengusaha petrol pam kt Terengganu lg cm sial..mmg babinye sial..aku doa korg akn jatuh muflis..amik kesempatan ats kesusahan rakyat..ade ke patut g tutup petrol pam right after Pak Lah umum harga minyak naik..mcm sial..xselamat korg..yg buat tu org melayu lak tu..malu aku nk ngaku org Melayu..dh la yg info kt aku bdk Cina..die siap leh kate "org melayu xblaja etika berniaga ka?"..aku diam je la..dlm ati dk mnyumpah2 tauke petrol pam tu..
